Roaches have been linked to disease transmission by picking up germs on the spines of their legs as they crawl through decaying matter. These germs are then transferred to food and other common surfaces that humans frequently touch. Cockroaches are known to spread at least 33 different types of bacteria, 6 kinds of parasitic worms and at least 7 other human pathogens. Saliva, droppings and decomposing bodies of roaches contain proteins that trigger allergies and increase asthma symptoms. 

Fire Ants build large mound nests that are irregular in shape, and between 2 and 4 square feet in size. Commonly introduced into new areas through plants, shrubs and trees.  Fire ants usually nest in soil, structural foundations or in landscaping. Often found outdoors, they can gain access to buildings through HVAC systems/ AC units.  Persons stung by fire ants will receive multiple stings from more than 1 of the ants. Persons allergic to insect stings will react severely to the ant stings.
